Welcome to DYA! If you're new to Yoga or to the studio, check out our getting started guide below to begin your practice with ease.

FIRST TIME AT STUDIO

  • Choose your first class date/time by clicking “Sign In” on our Schedule page. You’ll be prompted to start a new account and fill out your profile and new student waiver. Then choose “INTRO UNLIMITED 3 WEEKS” to purchase and you’re all set! NOTE: Bookmark this page or make it an icon on your phone - this is the best way to sign up for classes as the mindbody app doesn’t show all of our offerings.

  • Opt-in to receive emails from us and info@DhyanaYogaArts to your “safe contacts” list so you get special offerings, important weather updates and other yoga goodness we don’t share anywhere else.

  • New to Yoga or want to strengthen your alignment skills? Our Yoga for Backcare and Dhyana Foundations classes are great places to start!

  • Arrive 10 minutes before class to sign a new student waiver if you haven’t already and check in at the front desk.

  • Studio Hours - doors open 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time. Entrance door is at the FRONT of the building, between Kumon and Napa (we’re on the second floor).

  • We have mats available free of charge but many students prefer to use their own.

PLEASE TELL YOUR TEACHER IF

  • You need to leave class early.

  • You are new to a yoga practice.

STUDIO REMINDERS

  • All classes begin promptly. Arrive early, take off your shoes, and relax in the welcome area.

  • If you arrive a few minutes late for class, we are happy you made it and not to worry - please enter the room quietly and sit in the welcome area until after the teacher's opening talk or meditation (usually ends with the sound of Om). Then come on in and set up your mat to join the class.

  • Turn-off or silence all mobile devices.

  • There are cubbies to store personal items in our practice room. Please leave water bottles and other belongings in the cubbies during class.

NEW TO A YOGA PRACTICE

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Set your mat up in the middle or back of the room if it's your first few classes - it's easier to follow along in a Flow class when other students are in front and on the sides of you :)

  • It is best to refrain from eating large meals 2-hours prior to class.

  • Yoga is for everyone. Beginners are welcome! It doesn't matter if you can touch your toes... Yoga practice will teach you to connect to your breath and nourish the mind-body-spirit. Consistent practice builds strength, flexibility, balance, peace of mind and cultivates space for higher states of Yoga and honoring your unique journey.

WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP?

  • Memberships are our most affordable options and support students in nourishing a dedicated practice. Special membership rates are available during your first month at the studio. You can freeze your account once per year for a maximum of one month. These are auto-renew memberships. There’s no minimum commitment, so you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice via email to info@dhyanayogaarts.com
