Linda started teaching yoga 10 years ago and with her extensive training to become Iyengar Certified, she brings a great deal of experience to her classes. She currently teaches full-time in many different locations and also offers private sessions.

Linda’s teaching style is kind, explorative, and grounded in alignment, which gives her students an awareness of the subtle movements within. She offers an experience that both challenges and nurtures while always keeping her students safe. She loves to work with props in her own practice and has her students experience how these can increase the connection and awareness of the body. As a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, she has studied the physical asana extensively and has gained comprehensive knowledge in how to modify poses for optimal alignment or to deal with various physical issues and injuries.

Linda grew up in Denmark and moved to the US in 2003 where she joined Studio Yoga in Madison in 2009.  She joined Teacher Training with Theresa Rowland there and started teaching in 2014. In 2019 she passed her Iyengar Yoga Certification and also received her 500-hour level. Over the years she studied extensively with Theresa Rowland and Amy Hamilton and with many Senior Teachers from around the world. She has taken workshops with Deborah Wolk and Elise Miller on the subject of scoliosis and most recently taken workshops with Matthew Sanford which has been helpful in her work with disabled students at JSDD. Yoga is such an expansive subject and Linda enjoys constantly reading, learning and practicing all aspects of yoga.
