Caprice Abowitt
A classically trained dancer, Caprice has been teaching movement to children for more than a decade. She graduated with a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, where she showed strength and passion for pedagogy. Following her 200-hour certification with YogaWorks, Caprice developed curriculum and children's yoga programs for Microsoft (PRO Sports Club), the Stroum Jewish Community Center, Sacred Sounds Yoga, and many private nursery and preschools. She has developed and taught workshops for public schools and after-school programs for a wide variety of ages.
Additionally, Caprice has studied with Debra Flashenberg of the Prenatal Yoga Center, where she currently co-leads teacher trainings. In search of more ways to serve her students, Caprice became a certified birth doula through DONA in early 2014.
