Yoga for Backcare & Posture

This class addresses Yoga for back pain, back care, posture, and joint stability. This class is great for those who want to work on alignment (you don’t have to have a back issue!) and for those with herniation, scoliosis, sciatica, spondilolysthesis, degenerative discs, etc. Focus is on poses that alleviate back pain and strengthen the core, back, and other areas. Appropriate for students new to Yoga and for students who prefer an alignment-based practice. Both Beginner and Advanced practitioners deepen their understanding of alignment, lengthening the spine and safely strengthening the back, core, and other areas (you don’t have to have a back condition to join - we all have spines!).

Yoga for Scoliosis & Backcare

For students with spinal asymmetry or back conditions including herniation, stenosis, or general back pain. This class gives options for general back care and for scoliosis. For those with scoliosis, you’ll dig deeper into how to work with asymmetry. Emphasis on how to improve alignment and balance, alleviate back pain, reduce compensatory patterns, lengthen the spine, and create strength needed to maintain new patterns and good posture. This class is also appropriate for students who want to work on alignment, strength and joint stability (you don’t have to have a back condition to join!).

Yoga Scoliosis & Sadhana

This class is ONLINE ONLY. PREREQUISITE: watch this video on how to set up for class.  Please arrive 10 min early.

Yoga for Scoliosis is a specialized practice, very different from other types of yoga. It's like learning a new language. This is part of Deanna's Yoga for Scoliosis and Sadhana Course. Empower yourself to learn this new language of RE-PATTERNING. Classes are focused on Yoga for Scoliosis poses and back care practice. Sadhana means "daily practice or spiritual practice." This class is for students with spinal asymmetry or back conditions including herniation, stenosis, or general back pain. Improve alignment and balance, alleviate back pain, reduce compensatory patterns, lengthen the spine, and create strength needed to maintain new patterns and good posture.

Please have ALL of these props readily accessible for every class:
