Why she loves yoga: Practicing yoga postures helps us learn the language of the body and allows us to listen to the body with simple awareness. Eventually this creates even more awareness: to mind and to spirit which will ultimately assist us in reaching our greatest human potential!
How I Teach: I teach to who is in front of me, always with breath-centered flow, alignment safety and manageable pacing. I teach Yoga Philosophy in teacher training programs around town, so you can also expect a bit of chanting and philosophical inspiration too!
Jill teaches in NYC and co-teaches the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sacred Sounds Yoga in Greenwich Village. Jill's training: Atmananda in 2001 and Advanced Training with Adrienne Burke 2003.
