Dana started practicing yoga in 1999, shortly after her first son was born, realizing instinctively that the only way I could be the steward of another soul was to first be connected to her own. She received a 200 hour certification to teach through The Open Center in New York in 2002. Her unique method of imparting the philosophy of Yoga, combined with an amalgam of other esoteric, spiritual and metaphysical concepts is the foundation of her teaching, both on the mat and off. In 2011 she completed the 300 hour Advanced Yoga teacher training through Yogamaya New York. A longtime Vedic Meditation practitioner, she also offers meditation instruction, in the last few years has expanded into other modalities such as chakra healing workshops, yearly spiritual retreats to Italy and recording original music with her musical collaborators there. In 2013, she became a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant, and performs weddings and personal ceremonies.
